Ribery and Toni unveiled
Bayern certainly put their name down as one of the best transfers that will take place this season, after netting Luca Toni from Fiorentina and Frank Ribery from Marseille. They are only two names that have been added onto this summers signing season, to begin Bayern's revolution.
They join fellow new comers: Marcell Jansen (Monchengladbach), Jan Schlaudraff (Aachen), Hamit Altintop (Schalke) and Jose Ernesto Sosa (Estudientes), to form a new look Bayern side that also said go by to Claudio Pizzarro (Chelsea), Owen Hargreaves ( Manchester United), Hasan Salihamidzic (Juventus, free) and Ali Karimi (destination unknown).
But it was Toni and Ribery that stole the headlines for the Bavarians, and they were officially unveiled today as players of Bayern Munich. After a struggle fulled season, Bayern are looking to regain their legendary status in Germany and in Europe (UEFA Cup). They can certainly do this provided that new boys Toni and Ribery can find their best form in Germany.
If it works out, Bayern Munich will certain consider themselves as one of the favourites again to lift a trophy, be it in Germany or Europe. It's bound to be an exciting season for them.
