The French must get over it.
Gallas was the first to claim Italy were cheats after the World Cup, then came along Domenech who started going on about a game that was played like 10 years ago. There is a reason why it's called history! I don't see why he is picking a fight with the FIGC, UEFA and all who is involved, with these uncalled for statements. Yes, Domenech is notorious for speaking his mind but surely there must be a limit?
Yesterday saw Diarra, who just joined Arsenal, accusing the Azzurri again of being "cheats and provokers". This is starting to get a bit out of hand and unless they can provide sufficient evidence their mouths should be kept shut.
Del Piero has come out and said he thinks France have shot themselves in the foot with all these statements and if anything "le blues" are going to be entering one hell of a hostile stadium on Saturday evening and the players will be more determined than ever to go out there and win.
For now, best of luck to Toni as I hope his injury can some ease off for Saturday and Buon Lavoro to the Azzurri and Donadoni.
