Back To Cesena
Last weekend saw the start of the second half of the season begin where teams will be looking to make amends for the results that escaped them in the first leg; for Milan it will be Cesena with whom they lost their first game.
Though as Cesena has proven to most sides this year they are no pushovers and it is unlikely that they will be so on Sunday afternoon when they take on the rossoneri at the San Siro.
The Diavoli come into the game on a string of two straight draws and will be looking to return to winning ways despite the numerous absences that has hit Allegri's side.
The 2007 Champions League winners were preparing themselves to make do without the likes of Gianluca Zambrotta, Filippo Inzaghi, Marco Amelia, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Marek Jankulovski who only returned to training this weeks after being out for several months. However things have become worse for the Rossoneri as they have also lost Clarence Seedorf, Andrea Pirlo and Rodney Strasser.
Seedorf's exclusion from the squad has been put down to a knee injury, while Pirlo's thigh problem has flared again after the midweek tie against Bari. In addition to the two veterans being out Strasser, Pirlo's natural replacement will also miss out causing huge problems in the midfield for Allegri.
It will be nothing less than a tough match for the rossoneri who will have to make do with a depleted squad. Nothing less than a win is acceptable as they cannot afford any more slip ups should they wish to win the Scudetto.
