Has the San Siro crowd already heard the last of Gilardino's violin?
Many of the Milanisti have been left wondering whether or not Gilardino has played his last game for the rossoneri. The ex-Parma man has throughout the year been linked with a possible move to another club following his "disappointing" show, but no rumours have been as persistent as the ones of this week.
Rumours of a possible move to Juventus has been around for a while, but the main shock was when Gilardino supposedly offered himself to Inter. It hardly seems real as for this whole season Gilardino has done nothing but stick by Milan through all the bad times. He received huge criticism from people all over the world, but he always managed to put the team above him.
Even if Gila wanted to leave, he is not the type to go against Milan's back and sign for Inter. He has a quiet humble personality that lives off the tiniest bit of faith that he is given, and as he said it seems surreal to be in this situation.
He was Milan's top goal scorer in Serie A, and second highest goalscorer in all competitions this season yet he still manages to receive the most criticism. It is disheartening to hear the possibility of Gila leaving and some of the fans have taken action on these rumour. A petition was started for Milan to keep Gila and not sell him. But after the way he has been treated lately we can only but understand why he could want to leave and some could even say that they are surprised he even lasted this long giving the way he has been treated.
It is sad to think that the violin might not be heard again at the San Siro. After his hard fought displays and his passionate goal celebrations (one that gives Pippo Inzaghi a run for his money) showed how much the rossoneri shirt meant to him, but some unfortunately seem to forget that fact quickly.
Gila was one of the few rossoneri players to say that he would stay with the cub if they got relegated due to the match-fixing scandal. AGAIN a sign of how loyal he is, it is a real sad state of affairs. As he has given so much to the team and they have some how managed to through it back in his face ungratefully. And quite frankly as a Milan fan and as a Gila fan that has fought so hard for him this season, I feel that Milan don't deserve to have a player like him at this point in time.
They haven't dealt with the situation properly and one can only understand why he might want to leave. If he leaves his most likely destination will be Juventus who has returned to Serie A after winning promotion.
It shall be a sad day for all to see Gila in another shirt should he leave. But I am not giving up, the least Gila deserves is one more season, he is still young and has a lot of determination to do well if anyone can do it it is Gila. Carlo and him can certainly work this out, as he is definitely a vital part in the Milan team.
FORZA GILA!! RESTA CON NOI...
It isn't good bye just yet, I have fought too hard for Gila, it isn't over just yet!

I was happy when he arrive but i guess being a 20 goal a season guy at Parma i expected 30 goals a season at Milan. Its a little silly i know. Still ive kind have gone soft on him.
However id like to see him get one more season cause his italian and we need to keep our italians. However if Milan was to trade him for Eto'o I dont think id grieve for too long.
The Sheva left and it all fell on him to be the best. The amount of pressure he must have gone through.
I feel for him, he is Milan's top Serie A goalscorer and Milan secodn top in all comps. and yet their is still controversy going on. It's horrible, i feel that this next season he will explode.
And if Milan get rid of him now, they will land up regretting him.
If he wants to be a first teamer at Milan he needs to score in the Champions league. if he scores more than 5 goals in the Champions League next season, including a few match winners, he will be invited to Silvio Berlusconi's house for dinner on a regular basis.
Now that he has gained more experience and hopefully his confidence will be up, he can start bagging them all in!
FORZA GILA!
