Gattuso In Hot Water
There has been much controversy surrounding the celebratory chants sung by several Milan players following their Scudetto triumph on Saturday against Roma. In the heart of it all, unsurprisingly, lies Gennaro Gattuso.
The fighting midfielder was caught heading cussing chants directed at ex-Milan and current Inter coach Leonardo.
These songs which branded Leonardo; "A piece of sh*t" or "Uomo di merda", has left the press with no hesitancy to use every opportunity to display Gattuso's inexcusable antics. Undoubtedly this has caused a stir amongst the fans and officials and above all Leonardo.
The two were never shy in expressing their differences of opinion last year and it is since been made clear by Gattuso, that the Brazilian's move to their cross-city rivals is one that is not appreciated by the Milanisti.
It is a shame to see someone who is valued by Milanisti and neutrals all over the world stoop to such a level in which he labels and insults a former Milan legend. Regardless of whether the fans are happy or not about Leonardo's decision to coach Inter one should not act in such a manner.
When one wins a title it is time to celebrate a successful season and not insult former champions. Let sleeping dogs lie.
