Milan, 18 Times Champions

Victory is sweet but it tastes even sweeter when a trophy is incorporated with it. However, after seven trophyless seasons the taste had started to become bitter as the Rossoneri failed to get their hands on a Scudetto.

With Juventus and Inter having dominated Serie A of late the Rossoneri diverted their focus to Europe seeing them win twice and making threeChampions League finals. But with a new coach, Massimiliano Allegri, and several new players the Diavoli were ready to challenge for the League.

Ibrahimovic and Robinho were brought in to add fire power up front. The Swede didn't fail to disappoint seeing him lead the front line scoring over 13 goals in Serie A along with the young Brazilian Alexandre Pato. Robinho netted 10 goals and although he has missed more than he has converted the goals scored were vital to Milan's Scudetto triumph.

The loan deal with Genoa for
Boateng was wise decision by Galliani as the young Ghanaian rose to the occasion and proved pivotal in the line-up as he picked up loose balls, distributed precise passes and tracked back when necessary.

The January transfer window also proved to be vital as Mark Van Bommel, Antonio Cassano and Urby Emanuelson were brought in. Cassano added extra flair and fight up front as he thrived under the pressure to replace the injured Inzaghi and Pato as well as the often suspended and misfiring Ibra.

Whilst the new signings added the extra power to the side the old faces such as Nesta and Silva were solid as ever in defence. Moreover Ignazio Abate took the San Siro by storm as he grew from strength to strength with every game and proved vital in seeing Milan maintain the best defence in the league.

Clarence Seedorf rose to the occasion as his leadership, experience and creativity proved immense in the latter stages of the season. In addition to this Van Bommel, Gattuso and Flamini held the midfield together; fighting off any threat from the opposition.

It was an absolute pleasure to watch Milan this season as they returned to their old vintage style of play. They played for each other and with each other and together they conquered Serie A.

Thank you Milan, it has been amazing watching you this year making each Milanista in the world even more proud to wear the Rossonero shirt.
Congratulations. Forza Milan!!
