What the Italian Press say...

It's been a while since I have written on here as Siena has kept me quite busy but it has all been worth it. Just this morning, on my way to Uni, I walked past Siena's coach Mario Barretta in the street. He was all kitted out and carrying a thick file, and he was walking to his car. Unfortunately, I didn't get to speak to him as I was in a big group of people and I was running late for Uni but it looked like he was on his way to practise.

What surprised me was that no one really turned around to look at him or say something bout him, you would think that in a small town such as siena the Italians would know all the players and coaches, but then again i have noticed that Basketball is the most popular sport in Siena. Fernando Forestieri also said that he likes playing in Siena because you can walk around freely and no one bothers or recognises you, thi is something I think most player would want, the freedom to walk around freely without being bothered.

Tomorrow night Siena will play against Sampdoria in Genoa, and the confidence of fthe Sienese is a lot higher after their 3-2 triumph in Palermo, a city where Milan have failed to win in the last 3 years. The newspapers here are simply bustling with exciting over Siena's newattack, which we will most likely see tomorrow tonight as, Frick, Big Mac (Maccarone) and Forestieri. The tri oimpressed so much against Palermo and their 18-0 win yesterday in a friendly has certainly lifted the confidence of the players and the fans.

The newspapers haven't stopped praising Forestieri since his goal against Inter and for Siena's sake hopefully he will be fit to pay against Sampdoria as he picked up an injury in yesterday's friendly.

Regarding Milan, it is time that they wake up and smell the roses. The newpapers have been tearing apart the Ka-Pa-Ro which is now being refered to ass Ka-Pa-NO, and they have been short of compliments for Milan like you caanot believe. seedorf has been getting torn apart and it looks like Ambrosini is favoured above him by the pro's. hopefully Oddo and Jankulovski will return soon as we are lacking on the flanks and the certainly provide more to the attack of Milan.
Genoa will be tough and Milan need to remain concerntrated the whole game as Genoa can certainly capatalise on Milan's errors. The newspapers have made this game the tightest game of the weekend and the per centages are basically all equal in terms of who they think will win or draw.

Forza Milan, lets get that second home win!!
