Pirlo To Miss Auxerre

Milan have been hit with yet another injury blow as Andrea Pirlo has been left out of the squad travelling to France. Despite having trained on Monday with the squad Pirlo pulled out of the Champions League with a muscular strain which he has been struggling to shake off.

Milan will face Auxerre on Tuesday evening which will see Allegri having to field the strongest side possible with all the injuries that have struck the Diavoli lately. The 2007 Champions League winners will be without the likes of Luca Antonini, Alexandre Pato, Massimo Oddo and Filippo Inzaghi.

Despite the injuries confidence is on an all-time high for the Via Turati outfit who beat Fiorentina on the weekend to maintain their position at the top of the Serie A table.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri is expected to field a squad similar to the side that started against Inter. Here are the 21 players called-up for Tuesday's game.

Abbiati, Amelia, Roma, Bonera, Jankulovski, Nesta, Papastathopoulos, Thiago Silva, Zambrotta, Yepes, Abate, Ambrosini, Boateng, Flamini, Gattuso, Seedorf, Strasser, Merkel, Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Ronaldinho.
