Pippo leads the rossoneri to victory in Ukraine.

After weeks on the sidelines, Pippo Inzaghi came on last night to replace Gilardino and he did what he does best and scored two goals to send Milan on top of the table in Group D.

After a goalless first half, Ancelotti needed to make some changes and he took off Alberto Gilardino, who scored two goals against Shakhtar at the San Siro, for Inzaghi. The Athens hero made an instant impact and with one of his first touches of the game he latched on to an Andrea Pirlo pass to slot it home past the Ukrainians.

The goal seemed to spark the rossoneri into life and they went onto to add more pressure on Lecescu's men.
Kaká handled Inzaghi's assist perfectly as he managed to put the ball into the back of the net with help from the goal post as it pushed it in.

However even at 2-0 down the Ukrainians never gave up and continued to attack forcing Dida to make some saves.

Milan's Brazilian play maker Kaká broke free of the defense with Inzaghi alongside him and he unselfishly passed the ball to Inzaghi who went on to score his double in the 93rd minute of the game. Pippo continued to show what an impact he can have on the team as he equaled Muller's record of 41 goals in 69 games. Super Pippo is back again!!

Milan continued with their strange, inconsistent, "crazy" style of play at late and their are still questions over way Milan are playing the way they are... at least the Champions League is still looking strong for the rossoneri.

In the other group game Celtic beat Benfica 1-0 at home to continue the Portuguese's disappointing form. They were reduceded to 10 men after one their players made a terrible tackle on a Celtic player that nearly broke his leg.
