Milan Go Dutch

Milan have finally come to an agreement with Bayern Munich over Captain Mark Van Bommel seeing him sign for the Rossoneri until June 30 2011 with immediate effect.

The 33-year-old have been rumoured to leave the club for quite some time with Liverpool being the most likely destination however; that was not the case as Galliani worked his negotiating tactics well once more; securing the Dutchman's signature.

The strong midfielder spent four successful years with the German outfit and with his contract due to expire, come the end of season, it was only natural for him to look for another side.

Van Bommel's signing is the second signing within the week for the Rossoneri; who also secured the signature of the rising star Urby Emanuelson, seeing the Dutch duo join the Milan Summer market alongside Antonio Cassano.

The two signings has seen a great reaction from the fans who are excited to see more depth added to the squad however, the signings do come with one flaw. Both Emanuelson and Van Bommel are cup tied with Ajax and Bayern Munich respectively making them illegible to play in the Champions League.

With two cup tied players as new signings it is even more clear what the Diavoli's main objectives are this season: the Scudetto.

A warm welcome to both Emanuelson and Van Bommel
