Gila's violin starts to play again
It has
only been little over a month since Alberto Gilardino joined Fiorentina after three rather unfortunate miserable years at Milan and it looks like Prandelli has already brought back part of the old Gilardino.
The boy that played for Milan was not the boy that had scored 23 goals in two consecutive years at Parma. But it now looks like Gila has finally found his silver lining in the shape of Prandelli who seems to have found a new spirit in him.
Gilardino's approach to every game is a lot calmer and confident and he seems to take it in his stride which has seen him net important goals for La Viola. He netted a goal in Fiorentina's Champions League qualifier as well as scoring in the dying minutes
against Juventus in the first game of the Serie A season.
Albi's well struck goal against Juventus saw him bring back his old violin celebration as he ran to the Curva Friesole to thank his fans and celebrate below them. This Gilardino was definitely not the same person who struggled at Milan, this was the player from Parma.
