Hero or Villian?

Andriy Shevchenko has returned to Milan following months of on-and-off negoatiations. The exact deal however is unknown as both clubs declared it as 'confidential' raising supeculations that the much-wanted Kaka is involved in the deal.

The agreement came as a shock as it was announced shortly after Ancelotti declared that all negotiations had come to an end. It was Galliani that sealed the deal after several phone calls between club and player.

Shevchenko will arrive in Milan today and will undergo medicals tests on Monday where he will complete the transfer deal. He will also have to choose a new number as his old number 7 shirt is currently being worn by the much younger Alexandre Pato.

It is still unknown how the Milanisti feel about Sheva's return back to the San Siro but it it is garanteed that he will be greeted with mixed emotions when he plays his first game with Milan against Bologna.

After leaving Milan with no goodbye nor reason it will be difficult to wlecome back the player that was adored by all. He will have to start off from scratch and re-earn the respect of the fans that supported him throughout it all. Time will only tell if he will rise up to the player he used to be or fall like he did at Chelsea.

I'm concerned, he's old out of form and injury plagued. But if he comes good i'll sing his praises till the cows come home
