Kaladze suffers an early end to the season...

Milan have been dealt another injury blow as Kakha Kaladze has been ruled out until the end of the season due to a knee injury. The Georgia captain has been struggling with a knee problem for sometime but it is now been known that he underwent surgery today.

The Milan website released an official announcement this afternoon saying that the centre-back's surgery on his cruciate ligament was successful and he will be out for at least five months, resulting him having already played his last game for the rossoneri this term.

Kaladze is joining a list of players to be ruled out for the season as he joins the like of Gennaro Gattuso, and most likely Marco Borriello and Alessandro Nesta. The latter two have been struggling all season and it is uncertain whether or not they will make it back in time for the last few games.

The former Kiev player is suffering with the same injury as Gattuso and it is two injuries Milan can do without. The rossoneri have been struggling at late as they have been missing Gattuso's fire power and grit while the central defence has been lacking steadiness at times.

The fans are praying that the players make a strong recovery in time for next season that will hopefully see them injury free.
