Gattuso has once again made a shock return to football ahead of schedule following an injury that ruled him out until the season. The Milan midfielder injured his anterior cruciate ligament 5 months back and underwent an operation which ruled him out for six months, effectively ending his season. 
However the 'bull-dog'- as known to fans- managed to make yet another speedy recovery and he will be on the bench against Juventus this weekend. It's an important game to return to as a win for the rossoneri will practically guarantee second place.
Another boost for the rossoneri has seen Dida make the team following an injury scare in the mid-week. With Dida out and Abbiati ruled out for the rest of the season, Carlo would have to resort to Kalac.
His come back is month ahead of schedule and the player is fit and fighting.This early return could possibly raise his slim chances of travelling to South Africa in June for the Confederations Cup, which will see Italy take on the USA, Egypt and Brazil.
