To Sell Kaka or To Not Sell Kaka?

Every single transfer season there is always speculation of whether or not Kaka will leave Milan; however, none quite to this extent. The rumours are coming in full force and it is Chelsea and once again Real Madrid that are doing the bidding.

Ever since Ancelotti's departure various players have been linked to follow him to Chelsea. Names such as Seedorf, Pirlo and Pato have popped up a few times but it's no doubt that Kaka is their biggest target.

Though it will be no simple task in acquiring the Brazilian as Real Madrid have strong links to Milan and Kaka's family as well as offering Milan a lot more money and a better salary for Kaka. No doubt a good motive to join the Galactico's.

But times are tough and no matter how many times Kaka has expressed his desire to stay, he cannot deny that an offer like that is not inticing. The reccession of course does not help either as Milan have had to resort to salary cuts and lower spending costs in order to keep the time a float: selling Kaka will no doubt help Milan in the economic department.

Adriano Galliani did announce earlier today that negotiations for Kaka are underway and selling him will only be due to an economic matter. However, Galliani has not looked at the impact it could have in the long run, as fewer Milanisti and other fans will pitch for the games as they will not be seeing their Super Star Kaka.

T-shirts sales will drop too among various other merchandise and should they not find a suitable replacement fans could potentially turn against the team as a whole. The colossal loss of such a star as Kaka would affect the whole of Italian football as a whole as it looks like Serie A and Italian teams have seen their day on the international stage.

It's a tough decision that the team need to think through carefullly. If one small error occurs Italian football and Milan will not hear the end of it.
