Milan do it in Tuscany

The boys are back and they are back with a bang! As per the usual Milan style the rossoneri left it to the last minute to seal a win in Florence which pushed them back to second and only four points behind leaders Inter.

It was one of two mid-week games in which the two sides had to make up for, due to a snowed out weekend in December which saw it snow heavily for the first time in about 20 years in the Tuscan city.

Prandelli's men have been short of fortune of late as they found themselves slipping slowly down the table while Milan's inconsistency had left many wondering of La Viola could turn things around for themselves. It certainly looked the case as ex-Milan goal poacher Gilardino slotted one past his old teammates to bring them into the lead.

However; a revitalised Huntelaar wasn't going to have it that way and he drew the two sides level. The young Dutchman finally finding his place in the rossoneri side with his sixth goal of the season.

As it looked to be another failed attempt by both sides to win a match Pato latched onto a pass by Ronaldinho and placed it into the back of the net in the last minute giving Milan the three points.

An extremely unlucky and undeserved loss for Fiorentina as the Tuscans continue to ride the wave of bad luck while the Diavoli finally have something go their way but it's a case now of whether they will maintain the gao and close it somemore.
