Kings Of Milano!

Words cannot describe the pure joy and pride I am feeling right now. As I sit here the world is whizzing by while I keep on replaying Pato's goal, Pato's double, and finally Cassano's penalty over and over in my head.

We did it. Against all odds, without Ibrahimovic, without Pirlo and Ambrosini, Milan beat Inter 3-0 to take home another Derby Della Madoninna victory.

It was a victory that was won in fine style with Milan playing a quick even tempered game. The passing was precise and effctive; the forever strong pillars of Alessandro Nesta and Thiago Silva held the back line up high whilst keeping it tight.

The midfield of Gattuso, Van Bommel and Seedorf were as composed as ever. Van Bommel held his ground by picking up loose balls that fell through the midfield towards the defence. Alongside him, Gattuso was forever a raging bull scampering across the whole field putting in another die-hard performance as he pushed forward and tracked back.

Seedorf once again lifted his game when it mattered as he showed signs of his old self by playing and distributing the ball to perfection. His link up play with Kevin-Prince Boateng and the forwards of Pato and Robinho was flawless while he very rarely lost the ball.

The Ghanian born Boateng once proved why he is considered one of the best signings of the season for the Rossoneri. Prince's distribution, crossing and link-up play was creative and effective making it easy for Pato to run wild and break the offside trap on numerous occasions.

With Ibrahimovic out suspended the pressure on Pato to perform was at an all time high. But the young Brazilian once again proved his doubters wrong as he opened the scoring within the first 45 seconds of the game. His finishing was ruthless as he bagged a brace seeing him head home a brilliant goal from a perfectly times Ignazio Abate cross. The 'Duck' proved once again why he considered to be one of the best youngsters out on the field.

The whirl wind of emotions and thoughts are at an all time high and I simply cannot put it all down at once. This derby means so much to Milanisti that it is almost down right impossible to explain. It isn't just about the three points, it is about pride and history, revenge, bragging rights and the Scudetto.

Milan we are once again Kings Of Milano!! Grazie Ragazzi. Grazie Mister.
