Milan One Step Closer

The Scudetto is one step closer to Milan as they won their first three points of nine that would ensure the Scudetto remains in the city of Milan but moving across the fashion capital.

Milan's 1-0 win against Brescia on Saturday evening has left every Milanista brimming with joy and confidence as the smell of the much- admired Scudetto gets stronger with each win.

The Rossoneri have been struck with a ward full of injuries seeing them enter the final race for the title with a depleted side. With the likes of Nesta, Pato, Antonini, Ambrosini, Inzaghi and Bonera still fighting to recover from their injuries the long awaited return of Pirlo has left fans breathing a sigh of release.

The diavoli boast the best defensive and offensive record in the league but it wasn't going to be an easy match on Saturday evening. Allegri's men came into the Brescia game Milan without the likes of Ibrahimovic- due to suspension- and Pato and Nesta.

With their two top goals scorers missing and their pillar of Nesta out the Via Turati outfit had to be weary. In a game that wasn't face-=aced nor particularly action packed the Rossoneri struggled to find the rythm they enjoyed in previous games.

Nevertheless; a Cassano break-through and a quick pass to Robinho allowed the Brazilian clear on goal to net the only goal of the game bringing the rossoneri one step closer to the Scudetto.

With just 6 more points needed out of a possible 12 to grab their 18th title the Milanisti are starting to believe that they will regain the pride of the city and the nation in the next few weeks.

It will be no stroll in the park but it is possible for the side who has been leading Serie A since last year.
