The Build up begins

Each Milanista should be feeling a bit nervous this week as Milan will be taking on the mighty Red Devils (Manchester United) at Old Trafford stadium on Tuesday evening, for the first leg of the semi-finals.

Milan have been in astounding form at late and haven't lost a game since their 2-1 defeat to Inter since early March. The rossoneri have been looking a lot sharper in attack and with the fact that nearly the full team is back from injuries is a huge boost. However Dida and Inzaghi may be missing, due to injuries. The biggest blow to the rossoneri is the shoulder injury to Dida, as Kalac might have to be in goals and he has struggled to find consistency this season.

Manchester United, have struggled a bit after suffering serious injuries to Silvestre, Vidic, Neville, Ferdinand, Saha, but Hienze maybe fit to play. The red devils have seen their hold on the lead for this seasons premiership title slip to just one point provided Chelsea win later today. Man Utd were held to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford against Middelsborough, and disappointing displays from Ronaldo and co. saw looks of worried faces around The Theatre of dreams, as the build to the semi-final clash draws nearer.

However I as a Milan fan am not writing off the Red Devils as they still have a lot of quality left in that team, and with the experience of the coach and players they won't be easy push overs for "i diavoli".

Coach Carlo Ancelotti has the experience to exploit this team, but with the pace of some of the Man Utd players, the ever immortal Maldini and injury prone Sandro Nesta might have a few troubles. But with experience and great Italian defending Milan will look to control the game at Old Trafford and take the game back to the San Siro and perform the magic required there, in front of their Divine fans.

I look forward to this clash, after Milan's mixed season, Milan will be out to prove that the magic still lives in the grass of Milanello. The build begins now, and it will be a game not to be missed.

FORZA MILAN!
