FORZA AZZURRINI!

As the Euro for the U21's started today in Holland, Gigi Casiraghi was making his last minute preparations for when the Azzurrini take on Serbia tomorrow night, in their opening game of the tournament.

The azzurrini are one of the favourites to win the tournament, as they host a remarkable team which haven't stopped impressing under Coach Casiraghi. They will certainly be looking to make the most out of their group that hosts great countries such as England, Czech Republic and Serbia. No easy task, but the Azzurrini certainly have the quality in them.

The pressure is on for them, as Italy host the best record in the tournament having won on five occasions. But the depth and players that Casiraghi has is one that the Italians can certainly see bringing back home another trophy.

If the Azzurrini had to win, it would show what a great year it has been for calcio as a whole. Of course we can't forget calciopoli, but after that, many people thought that calcio was dead, but once again leave it for the Italians to defy the odds.

Italy.... World Cup winners, Milan...Champions League winners, and now for the Azzurrini!

It would be great to win it, certainly. The biggest factor will probably be the psychological approach of the players. I watched them against Scotland when they played here and - when they kept the head - they were brilliant. When they lost it, they went to pieces.

yeah too true, Chiellini did an interview with uefa.com and he certainly isn't ready for another lapse like last year, and i think the players are well aware that they can't afford what happened last year to happen again.

The main factor an dpressure is that they are one of the favourites,a fact that can certainly make them loose their head. Let's hope it doesn't happen.

A bad start against Serbia last night. We always struggle against the broken up elements of old Yugoslavia. Here's hoping for better against England.
