Milan Back Into The Swing Of Things.

Milan and Pato are back into the swing of things following a 3-1 win over Chievo with 'The Duck' bagging a brace to send the rossoneri on top, while in a strange unravelling of events saw Ibrahimovic score for the 'Flying Donkeys'.

Despite having to face Real Madrid on Tuesday Massimilliano Allegri took no chance of dropping points and fielded a side which saw Pato, Ibrahimovic and Ronaldinho start and it payed off, with the only concern seeing Thiago Silva being stretchered off.

The odds favoured the San Siro giants as the gialloblu have failed to beat Milan in eight outings to the Guiseppe Meazza, seeing them only managing two draws. Pato broke the deadlock just 18 minutes into the game as he volleyed home Ibrahimovic's cross, while Abbiati was also kept busy by Constant seeing his two shots excellently saved by the goalkeeper.

The double arrived moments later for Pato who sent the rossoneri into the break with a 2-1 lead.
corner and sent it into the back of his own net. It nearly became 2-2 as After the half Chievo found themselves crawling back as Ibrahimovic got a touch to Bogliacino's Gelson Fernandes sent the ball just millimetres wide of the goal.

But Milan were once again to have the last say as Ibrahimovic once again provided the perfect pass to send Robinho dribbling past the goalkeeper and slotting the ball into the back of the net. It is the Brazilian's first goal since his arrival to the Via Turati outfit and he and the team celebrated in fine style.

The confidence is now up for the big game on Tuesday evening and the players will be looking to once again outdo the Galactico's.
