So who is on the shopping list?

Following Ronaldo's exit of the hospital in Paris yesterday, Milan vice-chairman Adriano Galliani declared that Milan will buy a forward in the summer, due to the injury of Ronie.

Several world-class names have been linked to the Via Turati oufit but this is no different to every summer for the rossoneri. The only problem is, they have failed hopelessly in bringing the players to Milanello, and if they have bought someone they have been far from succesful.

Galliani has already confirmed spots for Gilardino, Inzaghi and Pato while Ronaldo's contract extention is still under question.

Four names have stuck out on a list of potential candidates and they are: Adebayor (Arsenal), Drogba (Chelsea), Shevchenko (Chelsea), Benzema (Lyon), while Ronaldinho's well known unhappiness at Barcelona continues to see his name linked with various clubs throughout Europe.

Emmanuel Adebayor:
After his impresive displays and goals in the Premiership, the Togo International has finally grabbed the attention of the European Champions. After causing trouble for the rossoneri defence in their first leg of the last 16, it looks like Galliani is considering an offer for him if their bid for Benzema fails.

Didier Drogba:
Another African player has been in the radar of the rossoneri and he comes in shape of Chelsea's Ivorian Didier Drogba. The man has simply been fantastic for club and country in the last two years and a move away from Stamford Bridge is looking possible as he has stated on numerous occassions that he isn't happy in London.

Andriy Shevchenko:
Shevchenko's move is looking immenent at the end of the season and the most predominant name linked with the Ukrainian is his former team Milan. The number 7 left the Via Turati outfit under controversy and it is highly unlikely that the fans will be happy to have him back.

Karim Benzema:
The young startlet has been eyed by Milan for some time now and he is no doubt the number one target to come into Milanello. They would however have to face tough challengers as the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea, Real Madrid and many others fight for the 19-year-old's signiture. Securing his signiture would be one of the best buys Carlo Ancelotti's crew would have brought into the outfit in recent years.

There is still the question of whether Ronaldinho is still a potential candidate for the World Champions but as long as he remains unhappy at the Bernabeau he will remain on the list of the rossoneri.

Who would you like to see Milan sign?
