Paloschi Breaks Siena

Milan have edged ever so closer to 4th place after securing a vital 1-0 win over a revitalised Siena. The Tuscans fought hard for 63 minutes until they were finally broken down by an unknown player called Alberto Paloschi.

The rossoneri came into the game at the peak of their injury crisis with Pato, Kaka, Oddo and Kaladze all unable to play. While Seedorf couldn't start the game due to a knock he picked up and Alberto Gilardino was suspended. However, they were boosted by the return of Ronaldo and Inzaghi- both having just recovered from long injury spells.

With Milan's attack misifring and Ronaldo not being able to play the full 90minutes, Paloschi was the only other option at Carlo Ancelotti's disposal; a gamble... but one that payed off.

The 17-year-old came on showing determination and his persistance payed off as he latched onto a fanatstic Seedorf ball to break the defence and slot it home past Manninger; bringing Milan even closer to 4th place.

The Primavera starlet is truely a great talent for the future and Carletto will do well to keep hold of this natural talent.

Apparently he is the Milan hitman with the best goals per game ratio in their squad. And I am always pleased to see young Italian players do well...

Yup, he has the best goal ratio: three games, three goals! what more can you ask for? :D

Fantastic to see him do well, and finally a young Italian stealing the spot light
