It is the end for Ronie?
The end is near for the famous Brazilian, Ronaldo, as he was dealt an evil injury blow yesterday against Livorno, the rossonero broke his right tendon in his knee after trying to jump up to header the ball in the penalty box. He fell down holding his knee screaming in pain while tears just flooded the Brazilian's face.
The injury could force him to take effective retirement as this type of injury will need about 9 months or more to heal,
by that time R9 will be out of a contract with current World Champions, Milan.
El Fenomeno joined the Via Turati outfit last January but his time at Milanello has been plagued with injury. He has only had four Serie A appearances, this season, before last night's incident which has seen him score 2 goals.
There has been recent talk about a possible early retirement for the Former World Player of the year which has been denied by his Coach Carlo Ancelotti but this injury could well have drawn the line for Ronaldo. The tears streaming down his face, as he got carried off the field, could well have been the last that football fans will see of Ronaldo, a huge loss to football but maybe something that should have been done sooner.
The disappoinment on Ronaldo's face has become unbearable to watch for many and it's time that El Fenomeno finally hangs up his boots now rather than later otherwise he could go out as a shadow of the player he used to be.
