Gattuso in for a long injury lay-off.

As if the injury crisis for Milan wasn't enough, they have now been dubbed a fatal blow as there midfield star Gennaro Gattuso is set to be on the sidelines for nearly six-months. Gattuso picked up a knock on his knee against Catania on the weekend but he managed to play the full 90minutes, a miracle in itself.

This only goes to show how much of a team player Rino really is. His passion to succeed and his will to never give up defines the perfect Milan player. His desire to do well for and with the team has seen him win over all the hearts of the Milanisti. The fans are only praying that he will over come this injury like he did the last knee injury in good time.

The fighting-midfielder sustained a serious knee injury back in 2007 against Atalanta where it was said he would be out for 5 months, however, Rino fought his way back and he was back on the field in three months. The new injury, however, is more serious as it is suspected that he has torn his anterior cruciate ligament.

The World Cup winner will undergo tests this afternoon in Antwerp to discover the intensity of the injury. Best of Luck to Gattuso, hopefully it all goes well.
