Kaka's loyalty is a sign of old football...

The talk of football for the past few weeks has been about Manchester City, the richest club in the world, and its pursuit of Kaka, one of the most expensive players in the world. If Man City were to land Kaka, it would be a dream come true for City fans, as they would have two of Brazil's leading men in their line-up.

Although, as the English press may have made it seem that the Milan ace was close to joining Hughes' men, it was always clear for Kaka and his fans were his heart lay; in the red and black shirt of Milan. His loyalty to Milan has proven that old football still exists; where the players play for the shirt and the fans rather than how much they are recieving in their bank account. This sign of faithfulness is rarely seen nowadays in football and his willingness to stay has won the respect of many.

For Milan it could have been easy to give into temptation ofrecieving such a lot of money. Berlusconi could bought half a new team, yet he kept his faith in the Brazilian sensation and has declared that he will follow in the footsteps of Maldini and Ambrosini as captain.

Ricky is edging close to a decade with the San Siro outfit and is ready to take over the armband should Maldini and Ambrosini not play, after all he will be captaining his National side for the 2010 and most likely 2014 Word Cup.

The fans are grateful for this sign of loyalty and they have shown their gratitude in messages, banners, and marches outside his house. Ricky Kaka will forever be remembered by Milanisti all over the world. GRAZIE RICKY!!

Kaka did such a wonferful act not leaving Milan. I think Robinho should have done the same when he decided to leave Real and move out to Manchester City. Players like Kaka is not usual nowadays.
