Il Puma leaves Milan
Milan have announced on their official website that Emerson has asked to leave the club due to personal issues. The Brazilian midfielder has been short of play this season and it was almost evident that he would depart from Milanello in the summer.
Emerson joined the rossoneri in August of 2007 from Real Madrid and failed to make an impact on the side. Continuous injury problems and poor form kept him out of the side making way for the likes of Flamini and Beckham.

His departure from Milanello is effective of immediately leaving space for Galliani to bring in new players in the summer. Speculation of a possible return of Yoann Gourcuff is on the cards as Le Petit Zidane has impressed this season at Bordeaux.
