Grazie Leo!

The inevitable has arrived as today all Milanisti will say their final farewell to Leonardo in his last match as a Serie A coach against Juventus.

The news about his resignation arrived yesterday in their weekly pre-match press conference, as Leonardo and Adriano Galliani both sat down to announce their parting of ways. It is under "mutual consent" that Leonardo will be leaving the Via Turati outfit.

An official statement by Adriano Galliani on the website read: "We are here together to announce consensually that we are separating,in a calm and serene way, as our relationship has always been these years. There is no surprise, it's all very clear, today as always. We have come to an end."

When asked about a new coach Galliani replied: "Up until today Milan have not contacted any Coach; there is time. It was already agreed that Tassotti would take charge of the team on tour set for July 12. There is no urgency. We have not made any kind of decision on the future."

Time will only tell who, if anyone, will come in in the summer to take over the reigns but for now a huge thank you to Leonardo and the best of luck.
