Milan fans call Marcello Lippi

In a poll conducted on Milan's Curva Sud, the fans have voted that they would like to see Marcello Lippi replace Carlo Ancelotti next season on the Milan bench. Jose Mourinho came second in the poll followed by Frank Rijkaard.

Italy's World Cup winning coach has been inactive since winning the world cup back in 2006he where there have been several teams that have approached the ex-Inter tactician; however, none where success in luring Lippi to their team.

With Milan's sudden drop in form, that could potentially see them miss out on the Champions League next season, the Milanisti are hoping for some sort of change in the team; starting from the coach.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti has been far from his best at late; seeing him playing injured players, making poor substitutions and sticking to the same predictable tactics, which has resulted in poor results for the rossoneri.

There have been various names that have been linked with the Via Turati all season but none as often as Marcello Lippi.

The Viareggio based coach would be a perfect candidate for the diavoli with vasts amount experience in Serie A, Europe and on the International stage. His tactics would suit the player's of Milan and the 59-year-old isn't scared to take risks.

New blood is needed at the Curva Sud of the San Siro and Marcello Lippi could be the right person to give the Brigate rossonere a new song to sing!
