The call-up hosts great emotion's for Santacroce as it was only last season when he was playing in Serie B with Brescia.

nice to see some fresh blood. I think Italy will qualify pretty easily after a good start points wise.

We need to test our depth and give fringe players some experience. As a milan supporter its nice to see Bonera Zambrotta and Gattuso get a call up. Although I hope zambro and gattuso dont play and get a bit of rest.

Yeah I would love to see some of the debutants have a go on the first team stage. While it is great that three Milan players have been picked... Still disappointed Ambro has not been chosen but that's Lippi's decision and we got to trust him.

It's also great to see Gila doing well and I am sure he will make his makr once again in these next two games

I think ambrosini needed a break. his forms been patchy. scored a great goal in the first match, played well against inter, but looked lost in a couple of other matches. hopefully the rest will give him time to sort it all out and he'l be back terrorising opponents at both ends of the pitch for milan and italy
