Rossoneri trio to make their return...

Alessandro Nesta, Marco Borriello and Filippo Inzaghi are set to return to Serie A football after long layoffs due to injury. The trio have been out for months and are itching to get back to playing again for the rossoneri as they take on a struggling Sampdoria side at the San Siro on Sunday afternoon.

Nesta is yet to feature for Milan this season as he has been struggling with a lower back problem. He missed the most part of Milan's Champion's League winning campaign in 2007 with a shoulder injury and this injury is was the last thing the veteran needed. Nevertheless, he has come out of his injury as strong as ever and the 'Tempesta Perfetta' (Perfect Storm) is raring to go.

Borriello's return to Milan has been blind-sighted with his muscular injury that has seen him out for over a month. Despite his injury the Napoli-born player has netted one Serie A goal as well as one Uefa Cup goal against Zurich and he will sure be out to repay Milan for the trust they put in him.

2007 Athens hero, Pippo Inzaghi will be battling to find space in a squad bustling with young strikers but as usual that will never let Pippo down. The former Juventus player has only made one appearance so far this season following his muscular problems that also kept him out for the best part of last season. The 31-year-old will no doubt be edging to go for glory and with Milan sometimes looking out of ideas on how to score, Inzaghi will be relishing his chance to shine.

It will be a warm welcome back for the trio as their absence has been missed and they will no doubt make an impact on the team.
