Derby Build Up: Prince and Pirlo Return

Without a doubt the most anticipated games of any Milanista or Interista season has to be the Derby Della Madoninna and it is just two weeks away.

While Milan travel down South to a Palermo side eager to make up for their 7-0 drubbing two weeks ago the Rossoneri's cross town rivals will be hosting possible relegation side Lecce. Despite these weekend games in between the big night both sides have had plenty going on.

Leonardo's side managed to pull off a surprising 3-2 win in Munich after falling 3-0 behind on aggregate. This win saw the Beneamata side progress to the quarter finals of the Champions League due to the away goals rule.

After losing the first leg 1-0 at home and seeing themselves fall 2-0 to Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena the Nerazzurri looked dead and buried and well away from a come back. But as we know football is unpredictable and the Serpenti pulled a magnificent come back.

This will undoubtedly leave them well and truly confident for the tie ahead while have received good news too.

Kevin-Prince Boateng and Andrea Pirlo are set to be back in time for the game against Inter whilst Ibrahimovic will be serving his three match ban. Andrea Pirlo has been struggling with an injury since December but has been training for sometime and will be ready to finally step out onto the field come April 2.

Boateng on the other hand has once again pulled off another speedy recovery and should be ready for the match on Saturday evening against Palermo.

More build up to the derby will follow
