Ibrahimovic Ban Reduced

After undergoing appeal Zlatan Ibrahimovic's three-match ban has been reduced to just two games, seeing him still miss the important Derby next Sunday.

The Swede was banned for three matches after he received a yellow and then an instant red in the game against Bari which saw him punch Marco Rossi. The Rossoneri originally agreed not to appeal but injury to Pato has seen the Diavoli run low of strikers.

The ban was reduced due to the Disciplinary Commission recognising that Ibrahimovic's act, despite illegal, was not a significantly violent one.

This reduction does however mean that Ibrahimovic will still miss facing his old side Inter in the derby but he will be back in time to face Fiorentina.
