Juve back where they belong!

Juve have officially been promoted back into Serie A, after spending their first season ever in Serie B. Juventus got relegated due to their part in the match-fixing scandal that hit the world of Italian football by storm. Juventus suffered the heaviest penalty out of all the teams that were involved in the match-fixing scandal. They got sent down to Serie B and suffered a 9 point penalty deduction, after re-appealing twice to FIGC and CONI.

Nevertheless, La Vecchia Signora are back where they belong after securing a 5-1 win over Arezzo. Juventus will come back into Serie A and will certainly favour their chances of finishing in the top half the table next season. As they will still have the likes of Pavel Nedved, David Trezeguet, Gianluigi Buffon, Mauro Camoranesi and last but not leats their hero Alessandro Del Piero. These players opted to stay with Juventus through the match fixing battle and their loyalty shown is one that has been admired throughout the world. As many have lost the respect for Italy's World Cup winning Captain Fabio Cannavaro, Gianluca Zambrotta, Liliam Thuram and Emerson as they jumped ship when it was announced that Juve would get relegated. And out of the players that have left Juve are the ones with the last laugh, as Cannavaro has had a poor season at Real Madrid and Emerson prefers Italy along with Zambrotta. The true hero's are the ones that stayed with Juve and now they are celebrating their promotion.

Serie A hasn't been quite the same without Juventus, their hasn't been much competition for the title as Milan, Lazio and Fiorentina all suffered points penalties, and Roma couldn't keep up with the pace. Hopefully next season we will see a closer race for the title. Many do feel that the clubs and the fans shouldn't have paid the price for their club managers roles in calciopoli, and many would be gald to see the colours of the bianconeri back in Serie A.

Many around Europe have felt a huge loss f respect for Juventus and their imagine of their bright past has been tarnished by Moggi and co. With Juve back up they will certainly be out to rebuild their imagine and restore that once glistening history.
