Milan's lost cause!

Another game another loss. This seems to be the story of Milan at late. The reasons for their poor style of play is still uncertain but much has to do with the coach.

Carlo Ancelotti had a poor season last year where the rossoneri finished fifth with only a UEFA Cup place to contend with. The summer break was meant to provide a break and a new start for the players but it only seems to have extended their crisis. Milan have only won one game and drawn one in their last eight games. A team like Milan shouldn't be loosing the way they are and to the teams they are playing. A team full of world class champions just can't seem to score, defend or do much else.

It's time for Ancelotti to revisit the drawing board and design a new team structure and much more. The passion has gone and it will need to be rekindled fast as the rossoneri will be playing their first ever UEFA Cup game in history on Thursday evening against Zurich.

Even if it's only the second week of the season there is no excuse loosing games they should be winning; especially after they are said to be bidding for the scudetto. It's time to rekindle the passion and start winning!!!

I think it might be the end of an era. I feel a bit sorry for Ancelotti as, by all accounts, he was not that enthusiastic about either Ronaldinho or Sheva.

However, he is such a faithful Milan man he takes it on the chin and tries to go about getting them the results and creating a team with what he is given.

I would only get rid of him if there was something seriously better on the market and I'm not sure that there is. Franky Rijkaard? Marco Van Basten? Donadoni? I don't know if any of them could shake things up to the necessary degree.

Plus, it does take time to overhaul a team.

Ancelotti is a brilliant coach but I can't stop to think that he has lost his way a bit with Milan. His formations have come to the stage of predictiability, that everyone can read their style of play, therfore; not being able to win the way they used to.

He is however extremely faithful and admire his courage to stay on and try to prove that it isn't yet over.

In terms of coaches, the names mentioned would be the only coaches I would like to see on the Milan bench; though Gullit and Costabcurta would also be warmly wlecomed.

Lets just hope Milan start winning soon.
