Ronaldinho crowns the rossoneri

Life is sweet for Milanisti around the world this weekend as they watched their team manage a hard fought out 1-0 win over their cross-city rivals, Inter.

Inter came into the weekend as the leaders of the log and favourites to win the Derby Della Madonnina. As Milan had several key players missing while, few weren't expecting Milan's new found form to last... However it was not the case as Ronaldinho's first, and probably his most important goal in his Milan career, saw him head home the only goal of the game. 'Dinho latched on to a Kaka' cross, who sprung past the offside trap to set up Dinho from 8 yards out. Changing Mourinho's smirk face into a glum one.

The build up to the Derby was surrounded by the controversy between Mourinho and his latest prey Lecce's Mario Baretta. While Ancelotti played it cool and kept his distance from the media and concentrated on the game. The constant attention from the press saw Inter fall apart as they had Burdisso sent off after two yellow cards and a little while later Materazzi was sent off from the bench for protesting. This seemed to anger Inter and they couldn't seem to find a way back.

It was no doubt a derby of passion, grit and soul that has seen Milan crowned champions of Milano and extending their bragging rights for another 6 months. It was great to to see Dinho score his first goal, Milan win the derby and of course see Inter fall to hopefully bring Mourinho back down to earth. It's the rossoneri's, Dinho's and the Milanisti's six months as the San Siro will be painted in the colours of red and black until the next derby...

Great win for Milan. Suprised they won with a lone striker, pleasing to see we can still actually win with only one up front.

Ronnie will win a trophy for us this season, im 100% sure. Many doubt him but I trust in his quality and he is as goog as anyone (even Gattuso) at preforming in big matches.
