Galliani calls two-hour summit

Carlo Ancelotti was called into a meeting today at Milanello following his team's poor display in recent weeks, raising questions of whether or not he would remain on the Milan bench.Following two consecutive defeats in the first two weeks of the new Serie A season has left Ancelotti even more closer in receiving the sack.

The boot was expected to be given, after a dismal season last year, but he was given a surprising second chance by vice-president Adriano Galliani.
Much was expected of the new arrivals bringing about the thought of a revolution, however; that has not been the case.

The diavoli's horrific start to the season has left Galliani with no choice but to hold a meeting with Ancelotti.
The meeting was held at the Via Turati headquarters at Milanello where Sporting director Ariedo Braida, chief medic Jean Pieere Meersseman and fitness coach Daniele Tognaccini were also present.

Few details where revealed about the meeting but Carletto did maintain that they talked tactics: "We were looking for the best technical solution and we found it".
Though much more has been speculated about what was actually said.

This has been the second emergency meeting held by Galliani in a matter of two months. If the game against Zurich does not go to plan Carletto's days could be well and truly be numbered.

If Milan don't get through against Zurich something is badly wrong. It is one thing to get outwitted in Italy but by a Swiss side? That would be the beginning of the end...
