Milan take on Braga

Tonight is the return of the UEFA Cup as Udinese and Milan (Sampdoria has a rest day) will be looking to take home another 3 points following their wins two weeks ago. Milan found it all easy as they beat dutch side Heerenveen 3-1 in Holland but they will be looking to make it two consecutive wins.

The rossoneri will take on Portugal's Braga at the San Siro stadium with a weakened team. Andrea Pirlo is still out injured as well as a tired Paolo Maldini while Zambrotta, Kaka, Abbiati, Favalli and Ambrosini will be watching from the VIP box as they have been given a rest by Carletto.

The team sheet has seen several young players called in for the game but it is unlikely that Galli's boys will feature. While it is expected that Dida will continue to play in the UEFA Cup, despite having yet to play a Serie A game, as Abbiati has also been given a rest.

Phillipe Senderos will also be looking to make his debut after returning from a two-month spell in the doctor's rooms however he will most likely make an appearance from the bench.

Pippo Inzaghi will be looking to increase his European goal tally as he has been in fine form for the rossoneri following two goals against Heerenveen. Though he has much more to celebrate as the goal-poacher extended his contract with the rossoneri until 2010.

Braga shocked Portsmouth with a 3-0 win and will be looking to continue with their impressive form against a Milan side that struggled to beat 10-man Napoli on the weekend. It should be an exciting game and the winner shall go top of the group.
