Renzo Barbera awaits the rossoneri

Palermo are by far not the easiest team to beat, as they play a strong tactical game where they play to their strengths. They know how to stop their opponents and hold them back.

Despite hosting the better record between the two teams the rossoneri have some what struggled when travelling to the Renzo Barbera in recent years. For the past two years the Sicilian outfit have been a jinxed team at home for Milan where the rossoneri have failed to win in two years.

Ballardini's men will be out to extend that jinx some more this evening as the diavoli will be looking to keep on Inter's tail in the league standings, despite Kaka and Gattuso missing for the evening tie.

Kaka will be surving his one match ban after he picked up his fifth yellow against Torino on the weekend while Gattuso is suffering with a back problem. The fans are hoping it's only a minor injury as they are still waiting anxiouly for Nesta to return.

Nevertheless Ambrosini will make his return from injury and its perfect timing as it is unknown how long Gattuso will be out for. Pirlo is also set to play his second game after returning from injury while Ronaldinho and Pippo Inzaghi are expeted to start following their goals against Portsmouth in the UEFA Cup.

It will no doubt be a tough game but flare and desire is needed in the game to maintain that close gap between Inter.

Your boys took a hell of a beating! I have never seen them look so slow, very lethargic on the break. Need to sharpen up a lot if they hope to challenge Inter...

So true Ginkers it's not even funny how badly they ae playing. So much for 'la voglia di vincere'. They only seem to wake up when they are like two goals down. Things need to change.. and fast...
