UEFA get ready to draw the names.

At 18:00 tonight, UEFA will take to the stage where the draw will take place for the group stages of the UEFA Champions League. The seedings have already been done and they are as follows

Group 1
Milan - Barcellona - Liverpool - Inter - Arsenal - Real Madrid - Chelsea - Manchester United

Group 2
Valencia - Lyon - Porto - Siviglia/ AEK Athens - Psv Eindhoven - Roma - Benfica - Werder Bremen

Group 3
Schalke 04, Celtic, Stuttgart, Cska Moscow, Sporting Lisbon, Steaua Bucarest, Lazio, Olympique de Marseille

Group 4

Rangers, Shakhtar Donetsk, Besiktas, Olympiakos, Dinamo Kiev, Fenerbahce, Slavia Praga, Rosenborg

No teams of the same country can be placed in the same group therefore special pairings have been taken into consideration.

The tournament will officially kick off on 11/12 September and two weeks later the second group games will be underway. The tournament promises to be an exciting one, and it welcomes Slavia Praga on their debut into the tournament after knocking out Dutch heavy weights Ajax, on a 1-0 aggregate. Sevilla and AEK will play their return leg against in Athens on Monday due to the game being postponed because of the death of Antonio Puerta.
