Milan deny negotiations over Ronaldo

Milan have released an official statement stating that they have not been in any contact with Flamengo regarding a possible loan deal to the Brazilian outfit for Ronaldo.

Rumours sparked as Milan allowed Ronaldo to have an early holiday in Brazil, while his Selecao teammate, Adriano, is also in Brazil where Inter have finally agreed to allow the nerazzurri misfit to join Sao Paolo on a six month loan deal after the Brazilian begged the Italian Champions for a loan.

El Fenomeno has been struggling with a long term calf injury that has seen him sidelined since July. The ex-Inter man looked to have recovered after he made his Serie A debut against Cagliari on November 25 but only for him to return to the doctors rooms 4 days later as he seemed to aggravate his injury again whilst warming up for Milan's Champions League match against Benfica.

While Ronaldo continues to recover the rumours are still going strong and it seems not even Milan's official statements will ease the rumours. More rumours of potential replacements have sprung as Benzema is the latest name to be rumoured as a reinforcement to Milan's misfiring attack.

The Frenchman is being eyed by all of Europe's heavy weights but it is said that the Lyonnias player would like a move to the fashion capital of the World. Only time will tell what will happen with Ronaldo and Milan's attack.
