Drogba to Milan?

When asked who you would like to see wear the rossoneri shirt next season, out of a possible four candidates, you fans voted Didier Drogba as the player you would most like to see lead Milan's attack. The Chelsea forward raked up the highest amount of votes as he edged past Adebayor and Benzema by one vote.

It has been no secret that Milan have been after the Ivorian striker and this summer the Milanisti could possibly see him at the San Siro. Drogba has repeatedly admitted how unhappy he is at Stanford Bridge and a move is almost inevitable but the exact destination is still unclear.

There is a joint spot for second place as Lyon's youngster had the same amount of votes as Togo's Adebayor. Karim Benzema has been noted as Milan's main target for this summer's transfer season and if Galliani and Company were to net him they sure would have made a wise buy.

Milan are in desperate need of diversity and some young blood on the field, this is where either Benzema or Adebayor will fit in well. Arsene Wenger's Adebayor has been a real sensation in the Premiership so far this season and has been at the top of the goalscoring chart alongside C.Ronaldo. However his only flaw comes in Europe, here he has failed to score for the gunners since his arrival at the Emirates. Nevertheless, when he gains more experience he will be sure to start knocking in the goals.

The player to come in last was Milan's "traitor"- as some fans would call him- Andriy Shevchenko. It is not suprising that he had the least amount of votes, given the circumstances in which he left the Via Turati outfit, and it is clear that some fans are still bitter about his controversial departure.

It's only a matter of time until we find out if and who Milan will buy in the summer.
