Congrats Bafana

I would just like to extend my congratulations to Carlos Alberto Parriera's and the Bafana squad for an impressive 3-0 drubbing of Paraguay. This game has been by far the most impressive display by Parriera's men since the Brazilian took over.

With the mixture of experience and youth the South Africans combined well to develop three fantastic goals. With crosses coming from both flanks, the defence constantly on guard the boys looked sharp and determined.

Bryce Moon was once again a sensation for South Africa and he is certainly proving to be a hot talent. It is no wonder that he is eyed by most teams in Europe.

The first goal came from Surprise Moriri; who fantastically controlled the cross and volleyed it straight home to put Bafana in front. Two more goals were scored in the second half on by the experienced Benni Mc Carthy and the other by Siphiwe Tshabalala. The Blackburn forward netting his 30th international goal to become South Africa's all-time top goal-scorer.

Let's hope this is the start of a new era for South Africa and that politics can be removed from South African sport and the players will start playing with passion
