Borriello shines for Genoa!!

Marco Borriello netted his first hatric for Genoa in their first Serie A victory since being promoted from Serie B, where they won 3-2 against Udinese. The rossoblu hero has hit great form following his move from Milan in the summer, where he scored one goal for the rossoneri.

His arrival to the newly promoted outfit was one that gave him great confidence and he expressed straight away how happy he was to be playing for the rivals of his old team, Sampdoria: "I am extremely happy to be here, to a club who really wanted me."

The confidence Genoa Coach Gasperini showed in Borriello has now paid off as he has scored all of Genoa's goals so far this season and it looks like he is still going strong. He is slowly becoming a fans favourite and one can see that he is slowly settling down with life in Genoa.
