After Saturday nights disappointing draw against France, the tifosi are hoping that the Azzurri will give them something to smile and sing about. The group stages are drawing to a close and time is certainly running out for the Azzurri to grab a spot for the Euro 2008. The last time Italy won a world Cup they failed to qualify for the Euro, coincidence? What ever it is, the tifosi are still relishing this match and are wanting Italy to win regardless.

Donadoni has received a lot of criticism at late, and new formations have to be figured out for tonight's game as clearly his previous one didn't work. With Toni being replaced by Iaquinta due to injury, Gattuso suspended and De Rossi out too the team is looking very thin. Pirlo and Zambrotta had to pass late fitness tests to see if they are ready to play and they will be starting too.

The return of Pannucci is expected tonight as Oddo is suffering from fatigue, but Pannucci too isn't fully fit. In the center of defense the solid pairing of Fabio Cannavaro and Andrea Barzagli will start, while Ambrosini is expected to take place of the suspended Gennaro Gattuso and Antonio Di Natale will take place of Alessandro Del Piero.

The Azzurri are in a tricky situation and it is a must win, no matter what Donadoni says. The players will be needing to play with passion, grinta, enthusiasm as they take on Andriy Shevchenko's nation who they are yet to loose against since they became Ukraine.
