Dinamo Kiev 2 - Pato and Gila 2

Last saw Dinamo Kiev host the European Champions, Milan, to celebrate their 80th birthday. The game was met with celebrations and saw some familiar faces return. Shevchenko came along to celebrate Kiev's birthday as well as Leonardo, Milan's sporting director.

As much as the game hosted significance to Kiev, there was also a reason for Milanisti to be excited by this game too. It saw Milan's new signing Alexandre Pato make his debut, for the rossoneri wearing the number 7 shirt.

It was the hosts that opened the account six minutes into the game when Artem Milevskiy headed past Kalac in goal. And later on Goran Gavrancic brought Kiev two goals ahead of the European Champions.
Just before the break, Pato had a reason to celebrate as he headed home a cross by Daniele Bonera, to score on his debut. And 5 minutes after the break the misfiring Gila, who had finally recieved some confidence from Milan's president Silvio Berlusconi before the game, controlled the ball to round the keeper and slot it home to draw Milan level. A great relief to Gila and to the fans.

The game ended in a draw as Valerio Fiori, who substituted Kalac in goal, made a great save from a shot by Milevskiy, to prevent Dinamo from getting the winner.

Milan: Kalac ,Bonera, Nesta, Digao, Favalli; Cafu, Brocchi, Emerson, Aubameyang; Pato, Gilardino
PS: Just want to say thank you to Il Nostro Presidente Belusconi for being there for Gila and giving him confidence when he needed it most.
