Gilardino and Alice to be parents

Congratulations are in order to Gilardino and Alice Bergomi as it has now become known that Alice is pregnant and they will be expecting their baby next spring. Gilardino was quoted as saying;"I am happy and I hope everything goes well"

The news comes just before this evening's Champions League tie against Benfica, and hopefully this will be a boost for Gila who seems to be suffering from low confidence resulting in his misfiring of goals.

The couple have been together since Gila's early days at Parma in 2003 and they have been going steady ever since. I wish them the best of luck with their child and congratulations. Beautiful for news for both of them.
